Who would want to be anywhere else this autumn?

Travelling in Tomos across the park recently has been breathtaking between autumn rain showers and flashes of warm sunshine.   After visiting the  Witches Pool and waterfalls at the Brecknock Wildlife Trust reserve near Talgarth we were tempted by clusters of juicy late blackberries in the hedgerow and were rewarded by classic views of the Brecon Beacons as we looked up from our foraging.

For cottages within walking distance of the nature reserve check out the details for Berth Fedw Farm Cottage, Maggies Barn, Little Donkey Cottage, Cobblestone Cottage, Hendre or Hilton House.  The Mill at Talgarth is now restored and the cafe is definitely worth a visit either before or after going to the reserve.   Once you have been yourself you pass on the experience to your friends.
