We were blessed with a week of blue skies and sunshine, leaving a miserable and cold London behind. Cwmcynwyn Farm Barn nestled in the foothills of the beacons proved to be the perfect place for our big group of three families. The children created dens in the fields, literally as soon as we arrived they were running wild & free!
The first morning held a pyjama hike up the hill up the Roman road, through bluebell woods & bubbling streams. The owner of the cottage, Farmer Brychan asked us to look after & feed an orphaned lamb we named cuddles.
The un-fussy converted barn with exposed beams & wow factor open fire which was perfect for roasting marshmallows on!
We all agreed it was the best half term ever!
