Now the end of the school holidays are drawing closer and visitors without children are thinking of coming away whether for a short break or even a Honeymoon with a Four Poster Bed in our beautiful romantic Tower or a little holiday cottage – look at Treworgan or perhaps Apple Bough, ChessCottage and PUCKS – all have new photographs to help show them off their best advantage.
During the recent really hot weather everyone was looking for cottages near water and were really enjoying our waterside cottages – why not look at Alltwinea where you can bring your dogs and at Filly (Lake) Farmhouse where you can fish, use the boat or the canoe on the lake.
Another fantastic riverside location is Buckland Mill – perfect for serious fishermen or a smaller cottage is Nut Hatch Cottage where you cross a ford or a new bridge over the pretty river to reach the house and have the advantage of enjoying the magnificent gardens there.
The Birches is a great old farmhouse, recently renovated that stands on its own in an idyllic, remote and secluded location with magnificent walking from the door. This is a really perfect place to stay for a group of friends whether you want to just hang out and eat together or explore this wild and remote Craswell Valley with walking from the door or for the more adventurous by mountain bike.
