Hay Winter Festival 2012

Liz DanleWe’re really excited to see that our very own Elizabeth Daniel will be dishing out business advice at this year’s Hay Winter Festival.

Elizabeth will be one of three successful female entrepreneurs taking part in the ‘Women in Business’ forum, which will offer tonnes of helpful info for anyone looking to start their own business in the New Year. Having already recently featured in an episode of ITV’s Holiday Home Sweet Home, Elizabeth is becoming quite the celebrity!

From the 30th of November to the 2nd of December, Hay-on-Wye will host the annual Hay Winter Festival Weekend, three days of festive fun for the whole family in one of Wales’ most famous destinations.

Events will be taking place at venues throughout the town and will include musical acts, comedy and performance, as well as a number of fascinating workshops for kids and a Christmas shopping happy hour with as much mulled wine and mince pies as you can shake a Yuletide log at.

Stick around and you’ll get to see the Christmas lights being turned on, plus there’s a local arts and crafts market where you’ll be able to pick up all manner of gifts and treats crafted by local people while reveling in Christmas cheer.

The programme of events kicks off on November the 30th with the festival ceilidh, during which Herefordshire’s twenty-piece Bandemonium band will guide guests through a night of country dancing and high spirits.
